How I Support Our Clients

 As a Legal Assistant at Riemer Hess, I support our paralegals and attorneys by ensuring each client’s long term disability claim is accurately and comprehensively prepared. My role includes assisting with organizing case files, obtaining medical records, drafting correspondence, and coordinating with healthcare providers. Through this work, I help secure and structure the critical evidence needed to present the strongest claim possible. 

What I Find Most Rewarding

 I am grateful for the opportunity to take some of the burden off our clients during this stressful and uncertain period in their lives, as part of the team that is guiding them through their next steps. Learning about individual stories and knowing that I can provide assistance is very meaningful to me. 

My Background

 I am a native New Yorker and graduate of Barnard College with a BA in Art History. During my time in college, I was the Artistic Director of Columbia University Ballet Ensemble, which was both a rewarding and challenging role involving meticulous oversight of myriad details in support of an overall artistic production. Since graduating, I gained experience as a legal assistant in both Trust & Estate and Personal Injury fields, as well as exposure to the insurance business. I look forward to bringing my skillset to our valued clients. 

Outside of the Office

 I enjoy attending museums, lectures and ballet performances in New York City, as well as reading. When I’m not in the city, I love spending time in nature in upstate NY.
