How I Help Our Clients

I bring over 10 years of focused experience representing clients in long term disability and individual disability insurance matters. I dedicate my practice to helping individuals secure the benefits promised under their policies and to holding insurance companies accountable when they fail to meet those obligations.

I regularly represent professionals and executives whose financial stability depends on carefully structured disability coverage. Many of my clients maintain multiple overlapping disability policies and sophisticated coverage arrangements. I understand the complexity of these claims and approach them with disciplined strategy, thorough preparation, and a clear focus on protecting my clients’ financial security.

I guide clients through every stage of the process, including initial claim development, administrative appeals, and litigation against major insurance carriers when necessary. I recognize that these disputes often arise during one of the most challenging periods in a person’s life. My goal is to provide steady leadership, clear communication, and strong advocacy from start to finish.

I do not take my duties lightly. When I represent someone, I want them to know they have a prepared, dependable advocate in their corner. 

My Background

I graduated from Temple University Beasley School of Law in 2013. Since 2015, I have concentrated my practice on ERISA long term disability claims, individual disability income insurance matters, long term care claims, and life insurance disputes. Over the past decade, I have developed substantial experience handling complex insurance conflicts and advocating for individuals in high-stakes disputes with major insurance carriers.

Earlier in my career, I served as a Public Defender in Northeast Pennsylvania, where I gained significant courtroom and litigation experience. That experience strengthened my advocacy skills and reinforced my commitment to standing up to powerful institutions on behalf of individuals who need strong representation.

I am a graduate of the Justice Morris Pashman American Inns of Court and a member of the Bergen County Bar Association.

As a Partner at Riemer Hess LLC, I focus my practice on advocating for policyholders in ERISA long term disability matters and individual disability income insurance claims.

I assist clients at every stage of the claim process, from strategic claim development through administrative appeals and litigation. I approach each matter with careful preparation, disciplined analysis, and responsive, client-centered communication that reflects the mission and values of Riemer Hess LLC.
