How I Support Our Clients

As a Paralegal at Riemer Hess, I’m dedicated to guiding clients through every step of the disability claim process with care and attention. I stay closely involved in managing case files, coordinating communication with insurers, attorneys and medical providers, and making sure all paperwork is accurate and complete. I enjoy digging into insurance and medical records to uncover important details, build clear timelines, and prevent issues before they arise. My goal is always to reduce stress for our clients and to be a steady, reliable point of support for both them and our team.

What I Find Most Rewarding

Supporting clients who are navigating a tough experience is meaningful to me. I genuinely enjoy the challenge of finding those key details hidden in complex records that can strengthen a case and help protect a client’s rights. Every client’s situation is unique, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to provide support while they navigate unfamiliar and often overwhelming circumstances. Helping someone secure the benefits they need — and deserve — is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.

My Background

Before joining Riemer Hess, I worked as a paralegal/legal assistant in personal injury, where I developed the skills and experience that help me provide strong, supportive guidance to clients navigating LTD claims. Beyond my legal background, I’ve always been committed to helping others. Growing up, I spent much of my time advocating for social justice through the performing arts, which shaped my passion for meaningful, community-focused work. I later earned my Master’s degree in Public Policy from Stony Brook University to better understand how policy shapes the systems we rely on every day. This background gives me a deeper appreciation for how we can improve those systems and make them work more effectively for the people they’re meant to serve.

Outside of the Office

I enjoy having debates and game nights with friends and family, as well as finding new museums and aquariums to visit. I love to explore and learn about animals, cultures and how things work and why. If I am not out and about, I love watching true crime, competition shows, and anime.
