How I Support Our Clients

As a Legal Assistant at Riemer Hess, I support our paralegals and attorneys to make sure that every client’s claim is as strong as possible. By organizing files, helping obtain medical records, drafting correspondence, coordinating with healthcare providers, and providing support to the team, I help to ensure that the crucial evidence needed to bolster the long term disability claim is gathered and organized.

What I Find Most Rewarding

What I find most rewarding about my work is that I can provide assistance to those who need it. My versatility as well as my desire to acquire more knowledge serve not only as resources, but motivation to put my all into everything I do. I enjoy learning about each client’s story and find it rewarding that I can help them along the LTD claim process as seamless as possible.

My Background

Before joining Riemer Hess, I gained experience as a paralegal/legal assistant in personal injury, which helped give me the skills to provide exceptional support to clients navigating LTD claims. Along with my background in legal support, I’ve always had a commitment and dedication to helping others. I spent most of my childhood advocating for human rights through the performing arts. I have a Master's degree in Public Policy from Stony Brook University, as I felt that the best way to create positive change in diverse communities would be to learn more about policy-making process and its effects on the infrastructure of society. By understanding the pillars that hold up the various industries that shape our everyday lives, I believe that we can learn more about how to make the system work for us, the people.

Outside of the Office

I enjoy having debates and game nights with friends and family, as well as finding new places to eat or hang out around the city. I love to explore and learn about different cultures as well as how things work and why. If I am not out and about, I love watching competition shows, anime, or listening to 90s R&B.
